King's table set in Pink and Gold. Gold Mercury Chalices with votive candles surrounded these Springtime beauties.

This beautiful arch was created using natural Dragon Wood and Curly Willow. It was accented with Peonies and Roses and flanked by our stunning Cherry Trees.

Sweet and Charming! Floral crowns have made a comeback in a big way. Not just for the Boho Chic wedding anymore!

Garden Roses, Astilbe and Seeded Eucalyptus create amazing texture for this attendant's bouquet.

Thank you Leah Langley Photography for these beautiful images. This aromatic bouquet set the scene for a perfectly pink wedding day! Gorgeous bouquet of Garden Roses, Astilbe, and Rannunculus was given a wild flower look with the clever use of foliage, Seeded Eucalyptus and Weeping Podocarpus were the perfect fit!

The new bouquet trend seems to be an untailored, free-form bouquet of a variety of foliages with very little or no floral. Perfect for outdoor weddings! We loved doing these bouquets and they were stunning!

This natural wood cross decorated with a lush foliage garland and floral accents is a beautiful focal point for a Wedding ceremony.

After a lovely afternoon ceremony on the golf course, this beautiful blended family took the party to the top of the Grande Hotel to Eleven. Shown here is another example of dual purposing wedding flowers. This gorgeous cascading sweetheart table floral was created for the archway and lives on for the reception and beyond.

Reunion Resort has a number of lovely ceremony locations. This is on Hole 9, a gorgeous view across the water with the Resort in the background. We decorated the top of this classic colonnade and columns archway with Green and Purple Roses, Orchids, Stock. and Lily Grass.  After the vows, we removed the flowers and transported them to the reception to be used on the sweetheart table.

Perfect for an elegant outdoor ceremony. Ivory, Blush and a touch of Tangerine is subtle, delicate and refined. Sprays of Bear Grass and draping Eucalyptus add movement as you come down the aisle. An outdoor wedding doesn't mean it has to be casual.   This was another creation for Carolyn Allen Bridal styled shoot at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Orlando.

Rich, deep colors mixed with soft pastels give this Free Form Bouquet a wildflower look but with structure. We're always looking for ways to create the much desired cascade with a modern twist, Hanging Amaranthus is just the ticket. Foliage included is Flat Cedar, Ruscus, and Aspidister leaves.

This was created for Carolyn Allen Bridal Studio's styled shoot at Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes Orlando

Gold candelabra are brimming with Purple and White Roses, Orchids, and Stock. After the vows we moved these to the reception and used as centerpieces for the prestigious family tables.

Love the shades of Purple the attendants wore. Their bouquets were the perfect complement with a mix of Stock and Roses. Picasa Cala Lilies and
Circus Roses brought a little pop of color to the palette.

Special thanks to Rhodes Studios for these beautiful images.

This paper flower back drop is drop dead gorgeous!  Can be used as a back drop for a sweetheart table, cake table, food stations, or anything else you can think of.  Add a little uplight or a monogram to personalize this amazing floral art.

Bring a "Distinctive" touch to your wedding day.  This hand crafted paper flower backdrop is perfect for ceremony decor, cake table back drop, sweetheart table back drop; the possibilities are endless.

Add uplight and perhaps a monogram to personalize this amazing piece of art for your special day!

Thank you William Arthur Photography for capturing this sweet photo of the groom with the Bridal Bouquet. Classic bouquet to match our classically styled couple of Polar Star Roses, White Dianthus, and Anenome, wrapped with a Pearl garland and finished with Satin handle wrap. Groom's boutonniere - Anenome.

The Event Pavilion at Reunion Resort was transformed into a stunning Gatsby-styled Wedding Reception for Yanel and Frank. The centerpieces touted four levels of decor abundance. 42" tall gold candelabra with Ivory and White floral, dripless candles, pearl strands and crystals formed the pinnacle moving down to four tall cylinder vases with dripless candles and gold candleholder, followed by three Gold Mercury Carraway compotes holding white and ivory floral and finally gold mercury votives. Beautiful chargers and flatware by Chair Affair completed this beautiful table top which was dressed with Black Satin underlay and gold sequined brocade pattern overlay by Over the Top Linen.

Stunning ceremony decor with a Gatsby style. Gold Chivari chairs were draped with strands of pearls, the aisle lined with Ivory Rose petals and 3 sleek pedestals held gold candelabra draped with Pearls and Crystals, dripless candles and abundant floral of White and Ivory. Once the ceremony is over, the chairs will be moved for use at the reception and the candelabra will become the focal point of the centerpiece groupings for dinner. An honor to be a part of this amazing vendor team with Reunion Resort, Blush by Brandee Gaar, Swag Decor, Kaleidoscope Lighting, and Chair Affair.

Our sincerest thanks to William Arthur Photography for the beautiful images! See more images under Reception Decor tab.

Loose, Airy, colorful wildflower look is achieved with Sunflowers, Astor, Snapdragons, Veronica, Wax Flower, Stock and Spray Roses........nailed it!

The bride brought us lace from her Mother's wedding dress. We handcrafted lace flowers that were inserted into her bouquet and finished the handle with the remaining lace. Diamantes studded the pink and lavender Roses along with Ivory Carnations to make this nostalgic memory bouquet.

Bella Collina's ballroom was stunning with these long tables, simple linen and touches of pink and gold. Centerpieces were displayed in Mercury Glass Compotes with Hydrangea, Roses, Stock and Anenome. A soft ambient glow was added with Gold Mercury votives completing the table look.  Thanks to Edmund and Joann Rhodes for these stunning images.

The ceremony was set in the Atrium of Bella Collina; when the venue has so much character, decor can be simple and elegant. Thank you Rhodes Studios for these images.

Simple garland with floral accents on the aisle and floating blossoms in the fountain were perfection!

The most popular color combination this season......Soft pink and Blush! This romantic hand tied bouquet was mildly fragrant and a beautiful display of Stock, Roses, and Dendrobium Orchids.

Bright tropical colors decorated first, the ceremony archway and then were taken to the reception for this stunning sweetheart table decor. Budget friendly way to repurpose flowers! Our thanks to Steven Miller for this beautiful photo.

Beautiful ceremony decor at Celebration Country Club. The gazebo was wrapped with foliage garland and accented with Roses, Stock, and Dusty Miller. All flowers used in the wedding.  The white carpet runner was lined with paver stones each holding a trio of cylinder vases with submerged Stock, Orchids and Roses and a floating candle for a soft romantic glow down the aisle for the Bride's Grand Entrance.

This unique wedding venue is a perfect setting for a wedding.......lake in the background, palm trees, hanging moss and a paved aisle leading to this stately arbor.  Hydrangea, Orchids and Bells of Ireland adorn the top for just the right touch of decor for a simple ceremony.

Jessica and Fred were married at Paradise Cove. This Green and White bouquet of Peonies, Anenomes, Orchids and Maiden Hair Fern were a perfect match with the vintage lace gown.

This blushing Bride carried a bouquet of White Peonies, Hydrangea, Dusty Miller and Sahara Roses to compliment her dress. Bridesmaids bouquets of Hydrangea and Roses were stunning against their Cranberry and Blush Pink dressed.

Silver Mercury glass is the trend in wedding decor this season. This vase holds Hydrangea, Sahara Roses and Dusty Miller foliage. The table centerpiece is completed with additional Silver Mercury Glass votives.

The Airport Marriott garden area is beautiful on its own. For this Spring wedding we added softness with a simple chiffon draping and gorgeous floral across the top. The aisle was dressed with an Ivory carpet runner, Rose petals and chair markers of the same floral. The arbor floral and chair markers when moved inside to decorate the Cake Table and Sweetheart Table for the Reception.

These beautiful images were captured by Jessica Leigh Photography.

A trio of varying sized cylinders are draped with our crystal rings and topped with Quick Sand Roses and Hydrangea floral as a sister centerpiece to our Classic Bling design. The surrounding cylinders were enhanced with a band of rhinestones to catch the candlelight provided by the floating candles. Simple but oh so elegant and glitzy.

Centerpiece grouping with a tall cylinder as the central star, topped with White Hydrangea, Quick Sand Roses and hanging crystal strands inside and draping on the outside of the vase. The stemmed votives were enhanced with rhinestones around the rim to hold simple floating candles, small vases with creamy Roses finished this grouping in style.

Our thanks to Brian Pepper for this beautiful image of our Fairy Tale Ceremony Altar.  Beautiful chiffon draped structure with rings of Hydrangea and Roses holding the fabric as it puddles on the ground.  The header was comprised of Hydrangea, Roses and draping crystal strands glistening in the sunlight for the perfect topper on this amazing altar.  The aisle was draped with chiffon and crystal sprays, beautiful jewel lined aisle runner, finished off with White Rose petals along side the chairs.

A beautiful Fall day calls for a splendid outdoor wedding.  White draping created a romantic ceremony space with rings of Hydrangea, Purple Roses, Dendrobium Orchids and Stock on the tie backs.  The archway was flanked with two exquisite 4' tall Bleached Manzanita trees with Purple Orchid florets and hanging votives all mounted in a box covered with River of Diamonds and an abundant floral mixture.  The aisle was dressed with our white carpet runner and lined with Purple and White Rose petals.

Our whitewood arbor is so versatile. Here it is dressed with Orchids, Roses, and Cala Lilies in White, Fuschia, Pink and Ivory. Photo provided by:  William Arthur Photography.

Cascading bouquets fell out of favor for many years, but we are happy to say they are back.  This modern version of the cascade is bold and beautiful.  Cattleya Orchids, Dendrobium Orchids, Calla Lilies, and  Roses in Fuschia, Ivory and Pink are real show stoppers.  Our thanks to William Arthur Photography for this beautiful image.

This classic bouquet of White Hydrangea and Blizzard Roses was perfect for an intimate destination wedding at Reunion Resort's Linear Park. Thank you Bumby Photography for sharing this amazing shot!

Our Black Lanterns light the way to our beautifully decorated Whitewood Arch.  Yellow Rose Petals line the aisle for a pop of color and the lanterns are filled with either a candle, Rose Petals, or Sea Shore decor. You'll also notice the Rose Petal monogram at the end of the aisle a simple and lovely way to personalize the ceremony area.

This archway is ready for a Beach wedding, covered with Bleached Manzanita, Whaleback leaves, Star Fish, Cala Lilies, Roses and Hanging Amaranthus. The lanterns can be filled with floral, sea shells or candles for the finishing touch.

Existing structures are a blank canvas for our design team. This pergola at Airport Marriott was draped with chiffon and hung with a luscious spray of Hydrangea and Roses.  Floral spheres lined the Aisle dressed with our ivory carpet runner and petals along the side.

After the ceremony and photos we frequently transfer the altar or church flowers to the reception. It saves on the budget and makes an impact! Use at an entrance, flanking the sweetheart table, head table or cake table. Some designs can actually be used as centerpieces.

These large arrangements on square pedestals define the altar for an outdoor ceremony.  Then are moved to the reception to flank the sweetheart table. Rich dark blues, purple and Curly Willow branches bring texture and depth.

Shepherd's Hooks with suspended Mason jars of wildflowers mark the way for the guests and bridal party. Even the simplest decor can add ambiance and beauty to the aisle.

Roses in Yellow and Orange, Orchids in Green and Orange along with playful loops of Lily Grass are the perfect back drop for the butterflies that are an important part of this couple's love story.

This couple was married at the Bell Tower at Bella Collina. Rather than creating a tradional altar our Keepsake vases filled with the chosen wedding flowers embellished the memory table filled with wonderful memory filled photographs from the bride and groom.

Bridesmaids don't all have to be the same. During this style shoot with Andi Mans Photography we used Coral Garden Roses, Stock, Tricillium and Dusty Miller in 4 different designs to provide unity. These bridesmaid are ready to walk the aisle..... "distinctively".

Love this shot by Life's Highlights. White Hydrangea is accented with Picasso Cala Lilies, Purple Tulips and Tricillium, just perfect against this exquisite lace gown.

Peonies, Stock, Brunia and Roses cascade down this beautiful cake.

A complement to our Elegant Farm table,  this trio of gold candlesticks topped with spheres of Hydrangea and Saraha Roses graced the round tables at this wedding. The finishing touch...gold Mercury votives for a soft casual elegant tabletop your guests will enjoy long into the night.

Farm table, King's table, Communal table; no matter what you call it the possibilities for table decor are endless. This bride wanted vintage elegance and this surely delivered. Different height candle sticks with lush Hydrangea and Saraha Roses sitting atop were interspersed with gold Mercury votives and simple floating candles in glass cylinders.

Peonies are popular this season as are Pastel colors. This beauty features White and Pink Peonies wrapped with Ivory Satin. The soft fragrance is heavenly!

Our thanks to J & K Photography for this beautiful image. This hand tied nosegay of Orange Gerbera Daisies, Hot Pink Roses and Green Buttons is bursting with color.

This bride was in love with branches, so we created this centerpiece using natural Manzanita branches and adorned them with these beautiful fuchsia Mokarra Orchids.  The arrangement was based with green reindeer moss as a soft base for the Cool Water Roses.

After the wedding we received a note from the family that the centerpieces were more beautiful than they had imagined, Cheryl's Distinctive Creations, Inc. has another happy bride!

white_ring floral_ring1

Floral ring surrounding three golden candlesticks. Lilies, Stock, Roses and Hydrangea are wedding classics.  Additional ambient light was given to the table top by nestling small votive candles within the flowers.

Royal tables are becoming the newest wedding and event trend. Royal tables in combination with traditional dinner rounds give the room an updated feel and give the option of using several different types of centerpieces. Groupings or vignettes of candlelight or floral give you great flexibility with maximum impact!

Manzanita Orchid Tree

This bride brought a magazine photo and wanted us to create this centerpiece for her wedding at Heathrow Country Club.  The cylinder vase was wrapped with ivory and brown toile patterned paper and wrapped with a Green Satin ribbon band.  The branches are a natural Manzanita Branch which was adorned with Green Dendrobium Orchid florets and had three lovely hanging votives on each tree.  They were perfect for this elegant but understated wedding reception.

Romantic and Flowing

Springtime and romance come together in this elegant centerpiece. Phaleanoposis Orchids, Hydrangea, Viburnum, Hot Princess Roses, Dendrobium Orchids and two colors of French Tulips come together in this stately vase. The table is finished by placing a thick bed of Rose petals around the base and nestling in votives.

Flowers in Flight

Half the room had traditional tabletop centerpieces while the remaining tables had flowers in vases suspended over the center of the table with Hot Princess Rose petals and votives underneath.

Test tube vases, tear drop vases, held the same flowers as the tabletop centerpiece while strands of crystals, glass rain drops and hand strung garlands of Dendrobium Orchids brought the bling from the ceiling.

Hydrangea Spheres

These tables are dressed to impress with a tall double bell vase topped with a lush Antiqued Hydrangea sphere. The table decor was completed by surrounding each vase with luxurious gold leafed votives.

floral centerpieces for wedding

A good way to economize on centerpieces is to use the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces.

Here candle cylinders and votives are arrangement around empty vases that become centerpieces when the bridesmaids bouquets are placed upon entering the reception.

scott8 aug 2011

When the ceremony and photos are done what do the bridesmaids do with their bouquets for the remainder of the evening?

Why not use them to decorate the cake table....it's cost effective and your attendants don't have to carry around their bouquet all night.   These lovely bouquets were the perfect compliment to the cake with Roses and Cala Lilies in Mango and Orange.

Thanks Edmond for the amazing images, you are an artist!

Cake decorated with Pink Gerbera Daisies and Green Button Mums.....very sweet!

Cake table decor

The cake is the focal point of your wedding reception!  Decorate the entire cake table with your wedding theme flowers for maximum impact.
This bride at JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando loved Sunflowers, so we used a variety of different sized Sunflowers to keep everything in proper
proportion.  Decor shown here includes the cake topper, accents on the cake layers, votives and floral accents directly on the table top.

Floral and Crystal backdrop

A white sateen curtain behind the sweetheart table and cake table was embellished with hand strung garlands of Dendrobium Orchid blossoms, crystal garland and French Tulips.  The soft pink uplighting created shadows of the flowers on the curtain giving a uniquely beautiful backdrop for photos of the bride and groom at their table and for the cake cutting ceremony.

Beautiful wedding at Gaylord Palms Resort. Our 24" tall Trumpet vase was the base for this arrangement of White Asiatic Lilies, Red Alstromeria, Black Magic and Freedom Roses.  Just a little bling with irridescent gems in the bottom of the vase.

Antique EleganceAntique Elegance

This table was created for a wedding show display at The Ballroom at Church Street.  An intimate setting using a 48" round table, suitable for a sweetheart table.  The centerpiece was constructed of Antiqued Green Hydrangea and draped with orchid garlands each with a beautiful crystal diamond on the end of the strand.

Orchid blossoms were affixed to the skirt of the linen for an added dimension and elegance. The table top was elevated with square cubes and Rose petals placed in between.

The centerpiece was surrounded by cylinder candles wrapped with a green ballet braided ribbon and each napkin was folded with a triple pocket and Orchids placed in the pockets.

Sunny Centers

This cube vase was filled with Lemons and topped with Sunflowers, Roses, Amaranthus, Green Wheat and Seeded Eucalyptus.  This couple wanted each guest to walk away with a favor but not just any favor.  Each place setting held a small vase with a single Sunflower for each guest, it added size, color and a personal message to each table.

Cake Table

Cake and table decorated with Black Magic and Black Bacara Roses accented with Stephanotis. Bridesmaids bouquets were placed in empty vases surrounding the cake and placed on the dessert table amongst votives and Rose Petals.

Roses are free floating in a 24" tall cylinder vase suspended at different levels using gold decor wire.

Beach Arch

This serene natural setting is enhanced with our bamboo archway draped with white chiffon and accented on the corners with bright tropical flowers. The aisle is lined with Tiki Torches decorated with flowers and palm leaves enhancing the natural beauty of this lakeside setting.

Floral aisle markers are a lovely way to pave the way to the altar. This Fall inspired design features
Terra Cotta Roses and Orange Mokarra Orchids tied with a beautiful Chocolate Satin ribbon.

Aisle markers are repurposed at the reception; cake table, head table, centerpieces enhancements
or any way you can imagine. Our professional staff will take them from ceremony aisle to reception.

Church pews, Whitewood folding chairs or banquet chairs we have an non-marring attachment
method for any situation.

crosshatch monogram runner

Individualize an otherwise plain aisle runner with Rose Petals arranged in the pattern of your choosing and your monogram in the center.

Here the bride and groom chose a crosshatch pattern to frame their "C" monogram.

loval thacker 015

This gorgeous backdrop was created using Dendrobium Orchids and Hot Lady Roses all suspended in front of the fabric drape in a variety of hanging glass vases.  You can see it gives the illusion that the flowers are all hanging in mid-air.

barnett aisle

An aisle ready for a grand entrance!

This beautiful aisle at Gaylord Palms Wedding Pavilion features two large arrangements of Orchids, Roses, and Bells of Ireland in chocolate brown urns.

The aisle was dressed with a mixture of Leonidas, Circus and Skyline Rose petals and the chair markers lined the way with Mokarra Orchids and Circus Roses and a playful chocolate brown satin bow.

colorful bridal bouquet 001This wedding was held at Isleworth Country Club. The couple loved color and chose this bouquet.  Purple Vanda Orchids, Yellow Freesia, Orange Roses, Red Gerbera Daisies and Lavendar Iris were surrounded by a collar of rolled Aspidistra leaves which was the perfect finishing touch.

pretty_in_pinkBeautiful June wedding! The bouquet was a modified cascade of shades of Pink and Blush.  Champagne Roses, Pink Peonies, Lizianthus and Hydrangea with cascading green Hanging Amaranthus made the bride blush with delight.

The attendants carried nosegays wrapped with blush satin ribbon on Lizianthus, Roses and Hydrangea a perfect complement to their blush pink dresses.

red_rose_diamanteClassic elegance is shown here with this beautiful nosegay of Black Magic Roses each inserted with a crystal Diamante, finished off with a collar of Lemon leaves and wrapped with Ivory satin.

This beautiful couple was married  on the rooftop of the Global Gallery at Stirling Sotheby's downtown Orlando.  Attendants carried dainty nosegays of white Anenome's with black centers which were a perfect compliment to their gowns.

The bride's bouquet was wild and wonderful, Hydrangea, Anemome, Rannaculus, Viking Poms and Lizianthus.

Halos have always been popular for weddings.  This halo showcases lovely green needlepoint Ivy adorned with precious miniature red spray Roses.  Easily adapted for any member of the wedding party.

Garden style nosegay featuring the wildflower look.  Seasonal red and white Anenomes, Viking Sunflowers, Hydrangea, Ivy and Lizianthus.

Classic Ivory Rose nosegay updated with crystal diamantes inserted in each and every Rose.

Cheryl had the time of her life designing these fun and funky bouquets for this wedding in Bradenton Beach.  Bouquet in center features Mokarra Orchids, white Antherium, Mango Cala Liies, Lotus Pods, Hypericum Berries, Petaless Sunflowers and Milky Way foliage with accents of Bark Wire caging the entire design along with wire wrapped pieces of Equisetum.

The attendants will carry a complementary bouquet of Petaless Sunflowers, Gerbera Daisies, Trichillium and Hypericum Berries.  The stem of these bouquets are first wrapped with chocolate brown satin and then a small green satin band for accent adorned with a green Hypericum Berry. Super sophisticated!

The boutonnieres, shown on the right, are just as unusual and sophisticated.

This bride was wild for Sunflowers, so we made her dream a reality with this elegant bouquet of Sunflowers and Roses. The ceremony was a traditional church ceremony with the reception being held at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes.

Photo by Jen Adams & Associates, Inc.

Personal flowers for a wedding come in many forms:  corsages, boutonnieres, hair flowers, tussy mussy; they signify that the wearer is someone special to the couple. We can create the appropriate body floral for any and all of your significant wedding participants.

We were honored to be a part of this beautiful couple's American ceremony.  Traditional Indian ceremonies were held earlier in the week culminating in the American ceremony at The Verandah and these photos at Lake Eola.

This classic bride wanted a less structured bouquet with a wildflower look but that convey elegance and grace. We attained her expectations with this hand tied nosegay of Orchids and Roses with accents of draping Seeded Eucalyptus

Color is a wonderful new trend for weddings today as evidenced by this bouquet of Yellow, Orange, Hot Pink and Green.

This beautiful bride carried a green and purple bouquet of Lizianthus, Buttons and Snapdragons.  One of our favorite color combinations, this bride had a vision that we were able to bring to life!

Prestigious flowers in hand tied bouquets. The Bride carries white Mini Cala Lilies, Cymbidium Orchids and Queen Anne's Lace. The Bridesmaid's Persimmon colored gowns were complemented perfectly with their bouquets of Green Cymbidium Orchids and Viburnum.

Gorgeous Freedom Roses are classic. White satin French Braid stem wrap finishes the hand tied nosegay. An empty vase with irridescent gems awaits the bouquet on the sweetheart table to become part of the table decor.
