Reception Decor

King's table set in Pink and Gold. Gold Mercury Chalices with votive candles surrounded these Springtime beauties.

After a lovely afternoon ceremony on the golf course, this beautiful blended family took the party to the top of the Grande Hotel to Eleven. Shown here is another example of dual purposing wedding flowers. This gorgeous cascading sweetheart table floral was created for the archway and lives on for the reception and beyond.

This paper flower back drop is drop dead gorgeous!  Can be used as a back drop for a sweetheart table, cake table, food stations, or anything else you can think of.  Add a little uplight or a monogram to personalize this amazing floral art.

The Event Pavilion at Reunion Resort was transformed into a stunning Gatsby-styled Wedding Reception for Yanel and Frank. The centerpieces touted four levels of decor abundance. 42" tall gold candelabra with Ivory and White floral, dripless candles, pearl strands and crystals formed the pinnacle moving down to four tall cylinder vases with dripless candles and gold candleholder, followed by three Gold Mercury Carraway compotes holding white and ivory floral and finally gold mercury votives. Beautiful chargers and flatware by Chair Affair completed this beautiful table top which was dressed with Black Satin underlay and gold sequined brocade pattern overlay by Over the Top Linen.

Bella Collina's ballroom was stunning with these long tables, simple linen and touches of pink and gold. Centerpieces were displayed in Mercury Glass Compotes with Hydrangea, Roses, Stock and Anenome. A soft ambient glow was added with Gold Mercury votives completing the table look.  Thanks to Edmund and Joann Rhodes for these stunning images.

Bright tropical colors decorated first, the ceremony archway and then were taken to the reception for this stunning sweetheart table decor. Budget friendly way to repurpose flowers! Our thanks to Steven Miller for this beautiful photo.

Silver Mercury glass is the trend in wedding decor this season. This vase holds Hydrangea, Sahara Roses and Dusty Miller foliage. The table centerpiece is completed with additional Silver Mercury Glass votives.

A trio of varying sized cylinders are draped with our crystal rings and topped with Quick Sand Roses and Hydrangea floral as a sister centerpiece to our Classic Bling design. The surrounding cylinders were enhanced with a band of rhinestones to catch the candlelight provided by the floating candles. Simple but oh so elegant and glitzy.

Centerpiece grouping with a tall cylinder as the central star, topped with White Hydrangea, Quick Sand Roses and hanging crystal strands inside and draping on the outside of the vase. The stemmed votives were enhanced with rhinestones around the rim to hold simple floating candles, small vases with creamy Roses finished this grouping in style.

After the ceremony and photos we frequently transfer the altar or church flowers to the reception. It saves on the budget and makes an impact! Use at an entrance, flanking the sweetheart table, head table or cake table. Some designs can actually be used as centerpieces.

Peonies, Stock, Brunia and Roses cascade down this beautiful cake.

A complement to our Elegant Farm table,  this trio of gold candlesticks topped with spheres of Hydrangea and Saraha Roses graced the round tables at this wedding. The finishing touch...gold Mercury votives for a soft casual elegant tabletop your guests will enjoy long into the night.

Farm table, King's table, Communal table; no matter what you call it the possibilities for table decor are endless. This bride wanted vintage elegance and this surely delivered. Different height candle sticks with lush Hydrangea and Saraha Roses sitting atop were interspersed with gold Mercury votives and simple floating candles in glass cylinders.

This bride was in love with branches, so we created this centerpiece using natural Manzanita branches and adorned them with these beautiful fuchsia Mokarra Orchids.  The arrangement was based with green reindeer moss as a soft base for the Cool Water Roses.

After the wedding we received a note from the family that the centerpieces were more beautiful than they had imagined, Cheryl's Distinctive Creations, Inc. has another happy bride!

Floral ring surrounding three golden candlesticks. Lilies, Stock, Roses and Hydrangea are wedding classics.  Additional ambient light was given to the table top by nestling small votive candles within the flowers.

Groupings

Royal tables are becoming the newest wedding and event trend. Royal tables in combination with traditional dinner rounds give the room an updated feel and give the option of using several different types of centerpieces. Groupings or vignettes of candlelight or floral give you great flexibility with maximum impact!

Manzanita Orchid Tree

This bride brought a magazine photo and wanted us to create this centerpiece for her wedding at Heathrow Country Club.  The cylinder vase was wrapped with ivory and brown toile patterned paper and wrapped with a Green Satin ribbon band.  The branches are a natural Manzanita Branch which was adorned with Green Dendrobium Orchid florets and had three lovely hanging votives on each tree.  They were perfect for this elegant but understated wedding reception.

Romantic and Flowing

Springtime and romance come together in this elegant centerpiece. Phaleanoposis Orchids, Hydrangea, Viburnum, Hot Princess Roses, Dendrobium Orchids and two colors of French Tulips come together in this stately vase. The table is finished by placing a thick bed of Rose petals around the base and nestling in votives.

Flowers in Flight

Half the room had traditional tabletop centerpieces while the remaining tables had flowers in vases suspended over the center of the table with Hot Princess Rose petals and votives underneath.

Test tube vases, tear drop vases, held the same flowers as the tabletop centerpiece while strands of crystals, glass rain drops and hand strung garlands of Dendrobium Orchids brought the bling from the ceiling.

Hydrangea Spheres

These tables are dressed to impress with a tall double bell vase topped with a lush Antiqued Hydrangea sphere. The table decor was completed by surrounding each vase with luxurious gold leafed votives.

floral centerpieces for wedding

A good way to economize on centerpieces is to use the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces.

Here candle cylinders and votives are arrangement around empty vases that become centerpieces when the bridesmaids bouquets are placed upon entering the reception.

When the ceremony and photos are done what do the bridesmaids do with their bouquets for the remainder of the evening?

Why not use them to decorate the cake table....it's cost effective and your attendants don't have to carry around their bouquet all night.   These lovely bouquets were the perfect compliment to the cake with Roses and Cala Lilies in Mango and Orange.

Thanks Edmond for the amazing images, you are an artist!

Cake table decor

The cake is the focal point of your wedding reception!  Decorate the entire cake table with your wedding theme flowers for maximum impact.
This bride at JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando loved Sunflowers, so we used a variety of different sized Sunflowers to keep everything in proper
proportion.  Decor shown here includes the cake topper, accents on the cake layers, votives and floral accents directly on the table top.

Floral and Crystal backdrop

A white sateen curtain behind the sweetheart table and cake table was embellished with hand strung garlands of Dendrobium Orchid blossoms, crystal garland and French Tulips.  The soft pink uplighting created shadows of the flowers on the curtain giving a uniquely beautiful backdrop for photos of the bride and groom at their table and for the cake cutting ceremony.

Beautiful wedding at Gaylord Palms Resort. Our 24" tall Trumpet vase was the base for this arrangement of White Asiatic Lilies, Red Alstromeria, Black Magic and Freedom Roses.  Just a little bling with irridescent gems in the bottom of the vase.

Antique EleganceAntique Elegance

This table was created for a wedding show display at The Ballroom at Church Street.  An intimate setting using a 48" round table, suitable for a sweetheart table.  The centerpiece was constructed of Antiqued Green Hydrangea and draped with orchid garlands each with a beautiful crystal diamond on the end of the strand.

Orchid blossoms were affixed to the skirt of the linen for an added dimension and elegance. The table top was elevated with square cubes and Rose petals placed in between.

The centerpiece was surrounded by cylinder candles wrapped with a green ballet braided ribbon and each napkin was folded with a triple pocket and Orchids placed in the pockets.

Sunny Centers

This cube vase was filled with Lemons and topped with Sunflowers, Roses, Amaranthus, Green Wheat and Seeded Eucalyptus.  This couple wanted each guest to walk away with a favor but not just any favor.  Each place setting held a small vase with a single Sunflower for each guest, it added size, color and a personal message to each table.

Cake Table

Cake and table decorated with Black Magic and Black Bacara Roses accented with Stephanotis. Bridesmaids bouquets were placed in empty vases surrounding the cake and placed on the dessert table amongst votives and Rose Petals.

Roses are free floating in a 24" tall cylinder vase suspended at different levels using gold decor wire.
